Allegion Australia is proud to announce its support of the Australian Institute of Architects. The Institute is a long-established and prestigious peak member body whose reputation complements the trusted nature of Allegion’s brands.

This support will allow Allegion to engage with the Institute and its members to improve the built environment and the places where Australians live, learn, work and connect.

Allegion Australia’s Commercial National Manager, Jarrod Smith, said the company’s trained specification writers and experts would help architects through the Institute’s Refuel CPD program, national events and chapter events to adhere to relevant codes and standards that help build a safer world. “Having great partners in this industry is the key to success, and we look forward to collaborating with the country’s best architects and firms,” Mr Smith said.

The Institute’s National President Shannon Battisson welcomed the opportunity to partner with Allegion and advance collaboration between architects and industry to deliver safe and quality design.

“Creative design and technical know-how are essential to creating the type of good design that influences our quality of life – including our safety and security,’’ she said. “Allegion’s support will assist in providing knowledge and guidance for architects and their industry partners to deliver quality design that improves our built environment and enhances the places we call home.

“Partnerships such as the one with Allegion are an important tool for deepening knowledge-sharing and collaboration between industry experts and architects to deliver better building and design outcomes for the community.”
